Save The Internet

Where Does Your Lawmaker StandFrom the activists at FreePress comes this information by way of Rebelle Nation :: Save The Internet.   There have been several bills in this Congress about the internet and politics.   This latest bill is just as important as the other issues we face in keeping the internets free.

Gonzales beating the KiddyPorn drum and ensconcing a look at what other ways he and the corporatists can worm their way into making regulations and awarding a few select corporations the privilege of charging for services that today are free.   If there is a way for the big corps to make money, this administration is just the ticket to get it done.

We must stay vigilant in our bizaro bush world for another thousand days...   My Representative has not voted on this bill...   Save The provide and interactive map that will tell you if and how your reps have voted...   - fc

Don't Let Congress Ruin the Internet

Right now Congress is pushing a law that would abandon the First Amendment of the Internet -- a principle called "network neutrality" that preserves the free and open Internet. Congress needs to hear from you today or they will hand over control of what you do online to companies like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast.

Politicians are trading favors for campaign donations from these companies. They're being wooed by people like AT&T's CEO, who says "the Internet can't be free." Sign this petition to tell your elected representatives to protect Internet freedom now.
